Zanna Gilbert


Zanna brings a diverse background in workforce development, social enterprise, nonprofit management and international recruiting to her work. She launched her career at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Center for Workforce Preparation, where she managed multi-year workforce development grants for state and local chambers of commerce. After taking time to complete business school, Zanna was in charge of growing sales for First Book’s new earned income venture as director of the First Book Marketplace in Washington, D.C. She spent a short stint in the corporate world as director of filmanthropy partnerships at SnagFilms in New York City. A freelance consultant for the past five years, Zanna has been building teams in disaster zones for Americares, and new sales teams in emerging markets for VisionSpring. Zanna holds an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in sociology and economics from Vassar College.
