Katie’s background covers marketing, event coordinating, and non-profit and association management, as well as budgeting and strategic planning. At Engage, Katie creates value for companies and associations by planning and executing engaging events. She builds strong relationships with community members while serving as the liaison between the community and the client behind it all. Previous to her career with Engage, Katie worked for the South Carolina Department of Agriculture where she coordinated numerous promotional and educational meetings and events for state agricultural and business organizations. She focused her efforts on planning and executing large expositions and meetings aimed at the promotion and consumption of healthy and local foods. Having worked for the Southern United States Trade Association, Katie brings an understanding of non-profits and associations to the Engage Strategies team. Katie has a BS in Business Administration Accounting focus with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of South Carolina.
